Rise Foundation is the charitable, nonprofit arm associated with Rise — but it is completely separate from the Rise Housing & Transportation Matching Network.
In memory of Tyler — reminding us that every father deserves a safe path home.
Tyler’s Path was created to honor the life and legacy of Tyler by helping individuals and families access the stability, housing opportunities, and coordinated support they need during difficult transitions.
Tyler was like a brother to me, and losing him has been incredibly difficult. His absence is deeply felt by everyone who knew him.
Tyler was the kind of person who would help anyone. He had a selfless spirit and cared deeply about the people around him. Even when life was challenging, he still found ways to show up for others and support those who needed it.
He also had a personality that could light up a room. Tyler was funny, quick-witted, and could make everyone around him crack up. Being around him meant laughter, stories, and the kind of energy that made people feel comfortable and welcomed.
Above all else, Tyler’s greatest pride and joy was his daughter. He loved her deeply and lived life to the fullest with her. She was his world, and the love he had for her was clear in everything he did.
Like many people, Tyler faced struggles, but his generosity and compassion for others never changed. He believed in helping people and being there when someone needed support.
Tyler’s Path was created so that his spirit of kindness, humor, and compassion continues to make a difference in the lives of others.
Through this initiative, Rise works to strengthen access to housing opportunities, transportation coordination, and supportive resources for individuals navigating difficult life transitions.
Tyler believed in helping people.
Tyler’s Path exists so that belief continues to live on.
Tyler’s legacy lives on through every life strengthened, every family supported, and every path made safer for those who need it most.
What Tyler’s Path Supports
Tyler’s Path focuses on helping individuals and families who are navigating difficult transitions access stability, resources, and support within their communities.
Through this initiative, Rise works to strengthen access to services that help people move forward when housing instability or life challenges make that path difficult.
Support from Tyler’s Path may help expand access to:
• Housing opportunities for individuals transitioning out of crisis, recovery, or unstable living situations
• Transportation coordination for individuals who need help reaching housing placements, medical appointments, or support services
• Stabilization support for individuals and families working to rebuild stability and independence
• Community partnerships that connect individuals with trusted housing providers, service organizations, and support networks
• Resources for parents and families navigating challenging circumstances while working toward a more stable future
Tyler’s Path exists to help ensure that people who need support are not left navigating these challenges alone.
Through the generosity of community partners and supporters, Tyler’s legacy will continue to help create pathways toward stability for those who need it most.
The "Emergency Bridge" Fund: We provide sponsored transport and notary services for individuals in crisis who lack the financial means to secure their next step.
Dignity in Transition: We offer high-touch advocacy for those battling the dual diagnosis of depression and addiction, ensuring they are seen as a human being first, and a "case" second.
"We move in memory of those we’ve lost, and in service to those still fighting for a better tomorrow."

WHAT THE NON-PROFIT DOES NOT DO
To remain transparent and compliant:
Rise Foundation does not:
❌ Provide housing
❌ Provide clinical, psychiatric, or medical services
❌ Operate or manage sober living homes
❌ Offer transportation services
❌ Provide ongoing case management
❌ Charge for services
❌ Guarantee placement of any kind
Its work is 100% donation-based and community-focused, not fee-based.
HOW THE NON-PROFIT AND NETWORK ARE DIFFERENT
Rise Housing & Transportation Network (For-Profit)
Matches clients with housing
Coordinates transportation
Charges coordination fees
Works with providers, families, and agencies
Business/legal structure is for-profit
Rise Foundation (Non-Profit)
Provides donated goods
Provides community support programs
Does not charge fees
Supports vulnerable families
Relies on donors, grants, partnerships
Legally separate nonprofit entity
The nonprofit helps support the same community, but it does NOT perform the same services as the coordination network.
WHY WE CREATED A SEPARATE NON-PROFIT
Many of the individuals Rise Network assists face bigger challenges than just placement.
The Rise Foundation was created to fill those gaps through:
Compassion
Community resources
Donations
Volunteer support
But in order to stay compliant, ethical, and transparent:
the nonprofit cannot perform any of the fee-based services Rise Network offers.
This separation keeps everything organized, legal, and mission-focused.
